Congress needs to worry about the debt instead of thinking of these incredibly idiotic bills/laws.

@ShiroNoYami Oh I see, thanks for clearing that up. Now that I look at it, so many people oppose it so it probably won't pass.
Doesn't this somehow go against Freedom of Speech? It feels like it does in some way.

Most companies and such would go out and delete videos and media about their products if they really had the desire to. I feel like there's a hidden motive here.
Someone will have the bring that up to the Supreme Court, then, because I think the bill is "technically" for anti-piracy and the like, though taken to quite an obnoxious level.

And I thought Obama already said that he would veto the thing? Would probably be harder to pass the bill the second time around when it gets sent back :x

I'm not too concerned. It's likely to not be passed or not affect it's too badly at all. Like, do you seriously think every person who sings a copyrighted song on the internet is going to get fined thousands of dollars? The government doesn't care about that. Most of that stuff is technically already illegal anyways.
I honestly think people are simply overreacting and/or misinterpreting what the bills is saying.

@Billions:
Canada has internet, and this bill is designated for the internet. Now simply put the two pieces of the puzzle together...

Since this is a new account (old one was terminated), this is my last post of the day.
Havuh gewd day peepuhlz!

Will it work if I live in Canada?

@OopsMyBad:
I do, but most of the idiocy I see is either on Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube. Most other sites, such as forums or blogs, generally have a much more mature community.
I hate Facebook.
All it does is let shallow teenage girls gossip, people that do not belong in society post the most obscene crap to their 784 friends, 14 of which they have actually met in person, old women play Farmville all day, and prepubescent boys (where the only adjective they know is 'gay') scream about the new Call of Duty release.
I hope this bill passes.
you do realize it's not only facebook, it's all websites that can be affected.

Social networking sites could be shut down because they "allow us to post freely".
Websites you visit frequently could be shut down too, or have limits on information.
