@Finder2: well i wont argue there, i haven't been on mine in a while.

main reason to that build is that i dislike having to leave stuff around wherever i need to attack.
if i were able to leave them all over the map like F/P's gas, that would make it a lot more viable to me

Dark Flare now provides DoT in addition to damage reflect. Midnight carnival should be left out.

personally, i'd go for
end of 1st: lucky 7 unmaxed (obviously)
end of 2nd: steal unmaxed
end of 3rd: dark flare unmaxed

in 1st job, you can choose to max L7 or doublestab
in 2nd job, do not max steal
in 3rd job, do not max midnight carnival

that's about it
