Check the date of the TS post people. This was far before Ascension where they added the "Excludes Special Scrolls" caption.
im sure nexon means that by special scroll is anything that isn't a 60% and all others
Note that there still hasn't been an exact clarification on this.
Umm, it says it doesn't affect special scrolls. And look at this, a special scroll http://www.basilmarket.com/MapleStory-item-Special-Potential-Scroll-6648.html

no, it wouldn't, the 10% success rate you get from lvl 100 diligence doesn't apply to special scrolls, so Vegas wouldn't get the extra 10%, neither would Advanced potential, or advanced equipment enhance, or potential, or equip enhance...

Bahaha! 46 Diligence!
Just do a session of mining + crafting daily. YOu'll get 500 Diligence easily. 500 Insight though, is harder. YOu need to mine outside of Ardentmill for that.
you do know that 0.99^100 is 0.366, so the chance is actually 36.6%

better pay attention in your mathclass....
Acually my dilligence was level 60, so it was supposed to be a 7% success rate.
However, nexon didn't mention before the jump patch that it doesn't work with special scrolls.
Nexon is just a bunch of scammers.
its not +10% additive, it's +10% multiplicative

so
90*1.1=99
60*1.1=66
10*1.1=11
Really? It fricken says +10%, wow, such a rip off, I knew something was off.

You need an average of about 1000 exp per level
so that's like 200 days of dilligence collection

Acually, dilligence doesn't increase scroll success rate. I've used over 100 1% scrolls, and all failed. Thats like less than a 1% chance

a friend of mine has lvl 88 diligence... once she gets 100 i'm going to ask her to scroll ALL my stuff mwahaha.a

Reply September 23, 2011

it would double the success rate of 10% scrolls
if you were trying to perfect a weapon w/ 10%s and white scrolls, this would cut your costs in half

Mines like lvl 40 right now I think... I used to get about 1-2 levels a day on it but it has been slowing down, obviously. But, I'm workin on it cause 100% adv pot scrolls or 80% reg pot scrolls would be great

I don't know how you would get to lvl 100 Diligence. I just got to lv10 Jewel Crafting and only have lv 38 or so diligence. That's a TON of crafting. Right now I don't want to see another nimble ring again.
Won't it work 99% of the time rather than 100%?

It's additive, not multiplicative.

The description says + scrolling success rate.
