got lost up innit
Had to drop off family at the airport early in the am today. Driving to the airport was nothing since I had a general idea of how to get there but getting back home was the issue because there's always some type of construction near the exit routes. I drop them off and set up waze to take me home and slowly start driving thinking that it'll update me with directions. I'm aimlessly cruising on the freeway.. 5-10 minutes later I'm thinking "yo waze.. where you at fam??" 100% sure I missed a vital exit at this point so I start looking for the nearest exit so I can pull over somewhere.
I check the app and it was trying to locate GPS signals this whole time, completely useless. Plan B: I pull up the default maps app to see if it'll help, nah. I have no idea where I am but I get back in the car and just start driving thinking I got this. Fast forward a bit, I arrive at a light and I'm about to pass through but my gut tells me to take a turn for some reason so I make an illegal @$$ left turn. I drive down this road and it ends up taking me to an area I was vaguely familiar with and I was able to find my way back home eventually.
Pointless story but it taught me something - There might be instances where you take a wrong turn or when you're not sure about how something will play out but the truth is, the path you're on will eventually lead you to where you want to be. The dots are already there, you just have to connect them.
Also f*** waze.

everything happens for a reason, know me know my ways, sit down have a beer with him, you're an alright guy, he/she may not be what todays society deems attractive but he does have a really good personality. these cheesy overused sayings are all said by scripted human begins for a reason. not because they are unable to think for themselves but....
