Building a Computer
Hey basilers. I've been hoping to replace my current computer and build a new computer since Cyber Monday is later this month, and I was just wondering if my build is alright. I'm hoping to build a semi-cheap computer, so I don't need the best things. I just need it enough to play games decently. (Dragon Nest, Maple Story, Alliance of Valiant Arms, etc...) I'm not to knowledgable about if the parts are compatible, so if you could help me with that, that'd be great! My budgit should be around $400-500 including the sale from Cyber Monday. Alright so here's my parts so far

Am I missing anything? If I am, let me know, and is this build decent enough? The total with tax would be $508, so can you guys give an estimate on how much this would be during Cyber Monday? Thanks for the help

You can save money by choosing a cheaper motherboard or weaker video card. The Radeon HD5770 is overkill for the games explicitly listed in your OP.
Newegg charges tax in CA, NJ, TN. TigerDirect charges tax in FL, GA, ID, IL, NC, SD, TX. Amazon charges tax in KS, KY, NY, ND, or WA.
You have laptop RAM. I suggest http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=7162756&sku=K24-9918, which I got for $25 a while back but is still a pretty good deal. It has good reviews too, which you need to pay attention to.
Yeah I have a windows xp disc so that's fine.
I would recommend this motherboard. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157243
Power supply still is bad.
I just click on the RAM, and that is for a laptop.
I'll look over your build in a bit. Need to to get something to eat.
You'll also need an Operating System. Depending on what your old computer is, you may not be able to use the Windows disc from the old one, if that's the plan.
Alright I changed the things you mentioned and found some new stuff, and I added my budget in at the top. Let me know if this works out better ^^ Thanks
You don't have a case.
That's an external HDD.
A quality 400w PSU can power that system, which that Raidmax is not a quality PSU. Get something else.
What's your budget? Since you aren't spending too much on the PSU, why don't you skim down on the motherboard, because you won't be SLI/CFX that graphic card and put the money that you saved for the processor?
