is grinding at school dances okay?

Okay, so last night was my schools Homecoming, and my date and I, along with our group of 20+ others, went to take pictures, ate dinner, and then went to the dance.
So, at the dance, there was a lot of grinding. if you don't know what that is, it's basically when the girls butt is on moving on your junk while your hands are on their hips or in the air, whatever you feel.
It was really fun and all, and I enjoy grinding, but should schools seriously let kids do that? I mean we had adults there that were suppose to not let us get too close that were just watching us like it was nothing.
What do you think?

Gave me a chuckle. On topic,I prefer when people actually put effort into dancing whether its shuffling, bboy ,swing whatever the heck your style is.

I would take the word "school" out of the "school dance".
Yeah I guess grinding's ok.
Though I can't believe that is STILL what people use as dancing. It's the laziest thing to do at a dance ever
The only other acceptable form of dance imo is twerking. I'm not complaining if grinding stays in vogue forever.

@Collee:

LOL p sure that dude is just trolling. Had a good laugh at his use of "kid" and "intellectual betters."

teachers should only step in if theres nudity (as it is illegal), otherwise you can do whatever the hell you want sexually provocative or not
why do people care
live your life instead of living life for others (and obviously they dont want that)

this generation is way too babied for their own good

This is the reason why my friends are having an anti-homecoming to avoid grinding and twerking.
Even if it's not permitted, dem horny kids would still do it. My school has teachers who monitor and get between kids who are getting too "physical" lmao, but high schoolers have a way of masking it. I personally don't approve of grinding and would condemn any of my friends who would but everybody has their own hormone level and amount of shame so it's not really in my control. I would, however, would call them out for being trashy and disgusting for stooping that low. Luckily for me though, I never go to school dances so I don't have to watch some kind of orgy being disguised as a "dance." </3
I wanna see that! Haha being monitored make it sounds so funny

I personally did a lot of grinding at the dances my senior year of high school, so I can see both sides of it. It was fun, but also creates a lot of... lust, since it's basically dry humping. Made it worse because the only girl I danced with at every dance loved to grind, and was really good at it lol. Suffice to say, thanks to all that grinding we were this close to going behind her bf's back.

So I lean more to the side of dirty dancing being reserved for college parties. Or at the least towards the end of senior year. High Schoolers are already sex hungry as is lol.

It just goes to show how trashy the girls have become. They have no self-respect
& don't really care if they end up pregnant by the time they graduate high school
since welfare will take care of them. Schools can't really do anything about this
but it comes down to the fact that parents are unable to properly raise their kids
since it's easier for them to leave their kids in front of the tv and/or facebook to
learn these things. All I have to say is ... enjoy your failed life on welfare, sk@nks.

Well... It's up to the school really. I don't think they should because that sort of provokes the idea of the "fun times".

Definitely not in middle school like last year when they played Thrift Shop.

I think it should be allowed, however I don't find it visually appealing. I'd be more inclined to dance with a guy that didn't just want to dry hump me in front of his friends. So glad I'm not in high school anymore.

Yeah, My date was one of those. She initiated it, and usually with that stuff you just go with the flow.

Sure. I think kids should be allowed sexual freedom in a non-destructive environment. Normalizing sexual desire is a great way to reduce sexually destructive desire when you're older. Grinding is rather tame in and of itself.

Completely normal. Should it be allowed? Probably not. It's pretty hard to enforce the "no grinding" kinda thing. Personally I think it would be awesome if some people did some nice ballroom or swing dancing. Change it up or something.
