Changing the Screenshot Key
Is it possible to change the key for screenshots? My computer is a laptop so I don't have Scroll Lock (the default key for screenshots), and doing a Ctrl+PRTSC gives me a screenshot of what's behind the running instance of MapleStory (for example, iTunes).
Just get fraps then.
It's free and it should definitely be able to take the screen shot for you in Full Screen.
Oh yeah I knew that. I was hoping there was a simpler in-game solution or something, but Fraps is relatively lightweight anyway.
Lol seriously dude? Play in windowed mode

Opens up fine for me. You seriously not playing in window mode?
Hrm... the main issue with that is I'd be forced to use the lower resolution, because 1024x768 gets cropped out in Windowed Mode. I guess if nothing else that would allow me to take the screenshot but it seems like quite the hassle compared to the possibility of changing the hotkey. Oh well, guess that's a fair enough solution.
Hmm, doesn't exactly solve the problem of wanting to change the key... or any problem at all since the On-Screen Keyboard does not show up while in-game. Perhaps that's a feature they did away with in Windows 8? Good attempt though, I guess.

Nope, however, you can play maplestory on steam and change steam's screenshot key.
Aw, shame. That's pretty cool though, guess I'll have to get Steam for my laptop then.
Don't believe so but you could use fraps, lightshot, tinygrab, etc.
Try Alt + PrtSc instead as well. Not sure why you are using Ctrl as it seems to be functioning the same where I use PrtSc alone or with it. Alt + PrtSc only captures the active window though.
Alt+PrtSc is the same thing for me, it takes the shot of whatever is currently on-screen, sans an active game (in this case, MapleStory). When using it in-game, I instead got a screen capture of this thread.
You can try snipping tool too if its urgent
Start Menu > All Programs > Accessories > Ease of Access >On-Screen Keyboard
problem solved
