Does one or two extra dex matter to you?

I feel like this is a silly question, but do you consider each individual point of dex to matter?

For example, I'm looking to buy a new helm - so would it be wrong to go with one with 14 dex (and 3% dex) vs one with 16 dex (also with 3% dex)?

(To clarify, I'm looking towards buying a scarlion/targar helm, and the targars with 3% dex typically seem to be a bit cheaper)

Can't stand having a gray named item or below average in 1 stat.

But then of course there's an exception to those extremely expensive items that have the same potentials. Then you should consider what the stat difference is and the price difference.
I usually hate grey named equips, but once I found a grey named staff, but it actually had above average m.att, but under average w.att. xD

for me, 1-2 DEX doesn't bother me on some stuff. i dislike grey equips tho, or clean ones. all my gear, besides potential, is fully scrolled with 60%'s, even tho 1-2 DEX doesn't matter, 10-15 more DEX does matter to me

also, for a helm, scar/targar is not an endgame solution, it can be replaced. ultimately what you must aim to is getting a chaos zak helm

if you can afford the extra DEX, and it's not outrageously priced, buy it.

@illogik: it would depend on your DEX:ATT ratio.
For me, it depends on the price difference between the two items in question. Generally, I will go for the better one. However, if it's priced outrageously high versus the one that's millions cheaper but with 2 less dex, I'll take the lower stat one.
Would ten million be considered millions? x)
yes, because 10 items with2 extra dex equals 20 dex in the end. its all about hhow it adds up
yes, but with the 300mil u save in total u could have a 22 all stat htp that u can still pot
It doesn't matter to me at all. As long as I'm wearing gear that I should be at my level or at least gear that looks good then I'm happy.

Too many people worry about damage now. I enjoy playing my class. I have an under-average Dark Arund that I 100%d to be my bow until probably late game. I'm perfectly okay with that. I love the Arund model and I always wished I could level up to wear one. Now I can, and life is great.
Yeah, I don't have a great bow either, but I always wanted a nisrock I can't afford anything godly, so yeah.

I just wanted to get a helm that's a bit better than the one I have right now because I can afford to do so - and if I decide to go with an equip that's one or two dex lower, I could be saving a small sum of money (which I could use for something more important, like pots)
