2h + rosary if u arent funded, if u aim to cap or high end bosses, then u have to get 1h + shield combo, 1h + rosary is useless cuz u lose too much stats or attack just using rosary if u can use a scrollable shield, so those r the paths u should take 2h + rosary or 1h + shield, power vs speed.

1H + Shield if your going to cap
2H + Rosary if you aren't going to excessively fund it

The general rule of thumb when it comes to 2-h vs 1-h is that 2-h is better until you cap because the weapon multiplier gives a greater damage boost compared to the difference in attack speed from using a 1-h. So you'd only want to go 1-h if you're capping with a 2-h or you prefer to have a faster attack speed, which may have benefits whilst bossing/training etc.

Of course you can always roll a 1-h from the get go if you think you'll get to the stage of capping with a 2-h and can't be bothered attempting to get a hold of a new 1-h.

If you go the 1-h route, I wouldn't waste time with a rosary, unless it's just a clean one as a place holder, I'd be using a shield.

It all depends on the funds you have Two handed + Rosary is the "cheapest". 2 handed blunt weapons are very inexpensive and you don't need to scroll the rosary. Second option is 1h +Rosary. This is middle the middle ground between the two. I personally wouldn't reccomend it, as my mindset is ur either really funded and are going to try to hit cap, or ur not and dont really care. The most expensive option is the 1H + Shield. A 1 handed sword technically has a higher base attack speed but has a lower multiplier and base attack. Also, a shield is better than a rosary if you're willing to put the funds into scrolling it with attack, but obviously that is more expensive. So in the end, ask yourself this, Am I aiming to be the best that I possibly can be or Am I content with a non-ideal weapon setup that will be cheaper?
