Can you reuse tea bags more than once?

I heard it loses it's flavour or effect when used on the second cup but ppl tell me you can use it for like 3-5 cups of tea.. (this is for green tea btw). Also how can i flavour it to make it taste fruity yet healthy?

If you're not drinking it for the caffeine then yes. Otherwise if you need that mini caffeine boost, probably not unless you use multiple used tea bags at once

Yea the green tea will taste weaker compared to the first cup & just drink fruit tea that's mixed with green tea or w/e. I know Teavana sells loose teas that are suuper interesting.

it's weaker.... why not just use a fresh tea bag?

@betterdayys That works, but it gets weaker when you reuse a tea bag because it's leaching the tea flavor into the hot water every time you use it. Eventually you get pale brown hot water with no flavor at all.

You can use a few drops of a "flavored water" concentrate like "Mio" to flavor tea, or use a concentrated fruit juice like lemon or lime juice extract ("RealLemon, RealLime" brand).
