Need some hairstyle help
Hey guys, I saw a guy come in my store the other day with an interesting hairstyle, but I was too busy to ask him what it was called. I was hoping you guys would be able to help.
It was basically a mohawk, the sides were shaved, or very short, and there was a long strip going down the middle that was NOT standing up. It was just long enough to lay by itself, and it wasn't meant to be put up into a full-blown mohawk.
Anyone know a name, or maybe have a picture of it?

get this because jay park is cool
I don't know how to describe it better.
This haircut isn't just "Get a mohawk, and don't spike it." kind of thing. It was cut with the intention of it not being put up.
No it isn't. A mohawk is standing up straight. I have a mohawk right now, I'm aware of what it is. This style was NOT a mohawk.
a mohawk isn't defined by the fact that it is up.
anyway, you should either stop putting product in your hair or describe the style better, because basically all you are saying is "mohawk."

what you are describing is a mohawk...
@Amuro: but the sides are shortened, aren't they? O.o I find it much more attractive when the sides are short and the middle is longer and poofy (fluffy hair) or maybe even spiky, just not as much as a real mohawk.
I'll just ask my gay coworker since I think he has exactly what TS means but I doubt he knows its name..
Edit: Damn, got a real quick response from him xD he says "undercut"
I think first poser is actually right or at least pretty close , when I google fauxhawk I get that hairstyle just that people gel it up (which you don't have to do after all).
The difference between a mohawk and a fauxhawk is that a fauxhawk doesn't have shaved sides.

No clue, my coworker has that too... but if you want the same hairstyle it's enough when you explain it to them, they should know what it is and be able to make you it looks pretty neat I gotta admit
it's just a mohawk you don't stand up w/ gel, wax, etc.
A friend of mine got the exact hairstyle you mentioned not too long ago.
He just told us he was going to get a mohawk.
God dammit people, can't one person take anything serisouly? >.>
Grand lionman.
The one you have on your character right now. o.o
