Making Legends Maple Leafs Fast
l need 8631 leafs by 3/20/12 because the next day we won't be able to trade in the leafs anymore. l don't know the price for each leafs, but l know that they aren't 5k. Can anyone give me suggestions on how l can farm/get the maple leafs quickly? (and please don't say,"Just Loot" because l've tried that and l only got 50 in a day.)

You can still get the set. It might just be impossible to get the medal, the rest is all still available.

l missed the Legends Maple Thank You event, so l didn't get any coins, so l didn't get any of the Legends Set,
leafs = coins = set
l went there and l looted the maple leaves soo slowly. The mobs did drop a lot of leaves, but the problem was me loot them before the timer went out. l went in there 8 times and came out with 300 leaves.
Get a pet and go on looting runs in Alien Corridor 6, in one hour (during 2x) I surfed through channels and got over 10,000 leaves.
They come in waves, so you have a little bit of time to pick up the leaves. But I'd just invest in a pet, they make looting so much quicker. Expecially with all the lag lately. Pet looting is server based while user looting is client based.
Hmmm, l've been wondering, if the mobs drop a lot of leafs in one run, does that mean that i won't have enough time to loot everything?
If you've done the quests before, you can enter whenever you like.

you need to finish like.. 3/4 of the quest line to get in there, not too difficult.

How do l get to the elevator, or do l need to do the quests again to go in again?
Get a pet with auto loot.
Go to Mp3 / Other popular training areas
Get your pet to loot leaves, or you loot by your self.
About 5 hours of constant elevator abuse would get you enough.
Go to the elevator in the NLC place going to the drill. It just has a constant spawn of monsters for 3 minutes and it drops an insane amount of leaves there.
Best place to farm leafs is Kerning Mall penguin machine. Killing it spawns 5 monsters.
Head over to NLC, into the alien base (you need to do the quests to get access)
Go into the elevator and Leaf tornado them all to death. they don't give exp, but they drop leaves. Because of the epic spawnrate in that elevator, you can get up to 250 leaves in just 3 minutes. Works best with a pet though.
You must not train a whole lot if you only get 50 a day.
But you can probably find them 6k in the FM. Some people might be even cheaper if you try to buy in the FM lobby or in channel 2 fm.
