Canadian Man Sentenced to 19 Years For Blogging?

This guy is going to prison in Iran for 19 years, he has already been in prison for 2. He's being sent to prison, literally, for blogging. I guess we know where Iran stands with internetz...
And the judge wanted the death penalty? What the heck is going on? Where is our Canadian Gov.t in all of this? Who knows...

Yes, it wasn't smart that he was IN Iran when he blogged, but come on? He was blogging about womens rights, government reform, etc.. It's not like he's planning to nuke them or something.
Why does he blog insults to the country hes in? At least go somewhere else and do it. But that doesn't justify a death sentence
Ya, he wants women over there to have some rights. So they throw him in jail for 2 decades.
He doesn't deserve it. He's the one preaching about women's rights right?
