Anyone with iPhone 4; Advice Needed.

So with my car about to be paid off and being in grade 12 and soon to go to post secondary I am thinking of getting myself a phone.

My plan is to go with Telus because I've never had a problem with them, I'm gonna go with a 3 year plan and the iPhone 4 will be $169 plus HST, and then going with the $65 per month plan which includes 300 minutes, unlimited texts, and 1 GB data. Would that 1 GB do for me? I'm not 100% if I'm about to make myself look stupid but; that 1 GB would go toward my internet usage, right? So Youtube, Forums, etc.? If I spent upwards of 3ish hours on forums with a bit of youtube stuck in there, would 1 GB be enough?

How are you all enjoying your iPhone 4's anyways? I have an iTouch atm and I love it so much.

Thanks for any help.

Just so you know, that 1GB will go in one day...

Bad point about iPhone, battery can't be replaced...
Well, it CAN be replaced, but only by the technicians.

Good point about battery? It lasts a long time (Again, read in reviews lol)

What a way of advertising the product...
I actually read it in a review by Engadget.
Yes, but the HTC Evo is indestructible.
You can't put a price on this. D:
It seems like it varies by phone. I've read reviews where it dropped 4-5 times (Which FYI is more than I've dropped my iTouch since I purchased it last spring break) and was shattered, but others where they threw it at a wall and it was fine.

Never seen or tried one of these though
I just personally like iDevices more xD

@KodiacMoment I personally have the same iPod Touch as this guy does, and I use it everyday. To browse on internet, listen to music, play games, and so on.

Now, getting the same device + phone + 2 cameras + 4 times the RAM...
I think it's well worth it.

I didn't even realise until I tried to update my iTunes/iOS recently and jailbreak again, because lime just wouldn't work.
Alright, cool. I love my iTouch so an iPhone is going to be epic.
I hated how I was sold a "3rd gen" 8g iTouch. When in reality it's just a 2nd gen. But this will be awesome.
Pfft, it's even worse down here. You go to any MAC STORE, and they tell you the exact same thing: "3rd gen 8gb iPod Touch"
So I can just Sync my music onto the phone? I was watching a few videos and on none of them did I see a Music tab thingy, so I was curious.
Yep, it's the exactly same way. Same goes with iPads.

Why you didn't see the Music app, it's because in iPhones and iPads, there is an "iPod" app, which contains both Music and Video app. Don't worry, iPhones are iPods Touch + Phone
I need to ask another question about the iPhone... does it have music storage? Will I be able to put music on it like with my iTouch, or am I going to have to eat up my data with streaming music?

Why not get an HTC Evo?
It has 3 times the internet speed.
Higher resolution camera on the front and back.
The battery and case are replaceable, as well as the memory card.
It is highly customizable.
It prints money.
It can grant you up to 3 wishes, even if one of them is for an iPhone.
It has an app that gives you an island and then transforms itself into a jet and flies you there.
It's indestructible.
Yeah, because a phone totally affects internet speed.

I have an iPod touch now and it is amazing, well worth the money. A "updated" 2nd gen 8G that they told me was a 3rd gen. Theres Wal-Mart for you. No wonder my jailbreak attempts were failing haha.

I love the layout and would love to get the phone version. At 180 bucks tax included it's a decent deal. Then like 75 bucks a month for the plan. Fairly cheap.
