Oh look guys
I just came across someone's tumblr ([url=http://basilcritiq.tumblr.com/]this[/url]) that an anonymous basiler has made to comment/bash (Warning: Somewhat harsh messages written by the person are involved) on screens (specifically the art section).
Your thoughts?

people are mad because this critiques are not consistent, and just judges how he feels like. I thought it was a good idea at first, but after a few more critiques i learned he isn't a good critique.

He's like /ic/, but Basil version. I don't quite understand his rating system, because it seems like if a picture has over 70 likes he instantly lowers the rating by 4. o.o
Well this person clearly said that the "Point of this is to plainly lash out at screens on Basilmarket."
To be honest, I'm scared for this community lol. Lol for this blog is just adding salt to the wound (and I'm here to poke at it).
I have mix feelings for this; this blog is hilariously cruel. I'll applaud to this person for actually taking his/her time to posting something like this and doesn't give a rat's arse about this. Guys, this person is pointing out the flaws in the picture when no one is saying, which I say this person is nice enough to do.
But I wonder if this person forgot what this website is for. This aint Deviantart that's for sure. I'm pretty positive that BasilMarket appreciates the good pieces of work that is scattered around the site, but the rest just post like the rest of Basil. Not saying that's bad or w/e, we're your average Joes.
Oh and congratulation to this person on becoming a grammar Nazi of the Screen section, pointing out every little details in [i]everybody's[/i] work. Might as well get on to the Video section and tell them how their time frame, lip syn, flow, skew, and music choice suck- I mean, needs improvement. Yeah? Right.
Hey at least this person is honest about his/her feelings. Keep up the brilliant work

His critiques suck. If you want real criticism by actual artists go to a real art forum and post your gallery there....

Hmm i like this guy. Some of the stuff he says are not too far from the truth.
Sometimes s/he's helpful, but most of stuff s/he so-calls "critiques" are asinine and downright ignorant.
But! Now that i'm aware of this blog, i am so tempted to submit another drawing.
Just to see what this person will say about it.

He's a critic all right.. although maybe for the wrong job.
If you threw some basil screens at a professional firm, you'll get harsher critiques than that.
If you threw some basil screens at a couple teenagers, you'd get nicer critiques than that.
It all depends on context. In addition, I'm sure that his critiques are all satirical. They're quite hilarious and probably not meant to be taken to heart.
This person is anti-tentacles.

According to their submission guidelines, he/she only comments on recent screens.
I like this person already. Hope to see more real criticism from him. People on basil just say "cute" or something. Hardly anyone gives criticism.

Some are lulzy to read but the ratings are a bit iffy to know what it's judging from. E.g. Famous-labeled artists are rather judged by their popularity than by content 80% of the time.
