Red Leaf High Totems

I realize the event hasn't started yet but I was looking through the shop in the event map .
Am I the only one who thinks 100m to 500m is ridiculously high? I mean, I realize the stats are ridiculous, but as an event I thought event rewards were supposed to be equally accessible to all players?

I guess what I'm trying to say is the totem prices are a bit unfair.

Theyre not unfair....Its pricey but for what they give, it lets one wear the empress set so easily
You guys do realize you have to get enough friendship points to be able to buy them right? Lets not forget you can only go once a day, and if you want to go more, you'll have to pay 400nx each time.
If you did the event from the very first day you wouldve only have needed to spend 4k nx (11 keys) to get 4000 points which is very minimal.

Well the only totems I'm getting are the 100k and 10 mil ones for 12 secondary stat.

I hope some people realize this already but I'll say this anyways.

The items are priced high on purpose:
(1) they know that rich, power hungry players WILL buy it and hence eliminate the amount of mesos in circulation. In hopes to lower inflation, maybe.
(2) poorer players can still level fast from the easy exp
---->however, if they want a guaranteed attack boost, it'll be costly.
Think about it: ALL prescrolled godly items are expensive anyways. AND these totem dont take up an equip slot somewhere else.
well if your are 120+ the 400m ones are better the 500m ones give less stats except they have no lvl requirement while the 400m ones are 120+ and simply have better stats
100mil + 400mil + 500mil (1bil) ones are the best, 'nuff said. lol
Guys will i lose the points if i buy any of those totems?
No, Friendship Points are permanent.

I waited until I had 4K FP to buy my first totem only to learn that they are not traded in when you buy the totem. So... as soon as I reached 4K FP I was able to buy all three totems. Well worth a billion mesos.

Thats a great idea! They are inflating the mesos

@Polarthief: I didn't say it would be fixed, I said it would help deflate it. The whole thing is a meso sink hole with incentives. Don't be an ass.
It's 1 bil for the last totem + teacher totem + 2nd best totem

sure it's alot of money but it's worth it
Wouldn't it be better to buy the two best totem for your primary stat, and then the last totem can be the best for you secondary?

So once again the poor people who don't have access to their pappy or mommy's credit cards are screwed. What else is going on nowadays?

it brings the economy to reasonable levels and it is purely for the people who are loaded up when it comes to bank and nx... which is why you need nx to buy another key....

"Each totem is a unique equipped item, so you won't be able to have two of the same totem equipped at the same time. For example, you can have a Mighty Joe Joe Totem equipped at the same time as a Golden Joe Joe Totem, but you can't have two Mighty Joe Joe Totems equipped at the same time."

@iHezDied: when they came out
i think its safe to say all players have gotten stronger and the content is now meant for lower levels
10k used to be a god like range before BB came, but now the average joe can get to 10k easily

when the content doesn't change to match the game state, its safe to assume that Nexon intends to have the content fit lower level, weaker players.

Lmao I say it is fair. If you own a lot of mesos, you should get items more rewarding. They have lower level totems for those who are poor but still give a nice stat boost. You can't expect to have ridiculously high damage without funding.

the most mesos ive earned in my whole MS life was 40m, and i spent those mesos on my mount.
by selling various eqps and picking up mesos, ive got 6m so far.
A +1 to you sir.
Most events suck for higher leveled players. This is nice for a change.
Its a nice event from TWS. Have you guys realise KMS events are the boring ones collect X items, hold this for 30 mins etc.

As someone who can't even afford the cheapest one, I agree it's too expensive. They already established the fact that it was an event aimed towards people with NX by limiting players not willing to pay NX one entry a day. Pretty sure Nexon understands that most people can't make 500m+ without NX.
that's a pretty biased viewpoint.
Almost all boss content is focused on the higher level maplers (Excluding normal hilla, that was a rare occurence).
Are you kidding?
Most bosses and all area bosses are designated towards lower level players. There are only like 5 bosses that are focused at higher level maplers (Hilla, Cygnus, PB, Czak and CHT)
you can only buy one of each
500m+400m+100m for the best set
thats only 1b for perm equips that can easily be obtained by anyone
i think this event is fair, gg nexon
1bil isn't exactly easily obtainable by anyone.

its copy paste from TWMS, so its normal for it to be high. Economy in TWMS is way more stable than ours. You could make 100mil in 1 day, from scratch, due to the lack of dupers

It will help deflate the economy. And the stat boost is pretty nice for your secondary stat.

I agree. My jaw dropped when I saw the prices but I do agree that the stats on them are very good but the items are inaccessible for those are have insufficient funds.

Wait so you're saying getting +20 All Stats, +6 ATT isn't worth more than 50m? Pretty sure Rising Sun equips aren't near as good as that and they go for 500m. They are very much worth the mesos.

Well, as a person who has nearly no money at any time ever, I'd say yes they are overpriced. But there have always been events for the rich throughout maple.
