Cant seem to update maplestory, please help
I have a bit of a problem updating maple. Everytime I try to update the clint, it always seems to stop at "Creating: Mob.Wz", I've Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but it always stops at the same spot. Has anyone had this problem, if so what did you do to fix it.

@blueblade555: No no it's not you, that's what I mean to say. Usually what happens is that the user's internet connection is what caps their connectivity but with Maple, that's almost never the case.
What I think is happening is that Maple's server capacity is down like crazy right now. So while your internet can be running at 30Mbps, they're only allowing like 1Kbps.
Here's a list of ways I've confirmed Maple's servers are trashed right now.
- I tried downloading the complete downloader from Maple's website using my browser. 2.4Mb file ETA 40 minutes.
- I tried downloading the complete downloader from Maplestory using a dedicated HTML downloader. Still 2.4Mb file ETA 40 minutes, running between 807bps (yeah, BITS per second) and 35kbps.
- I tried downloading the patch through Maple's website. 1.2Gb file, ETA from 1 hour to 7 hours
- I tried downloading the patch through a dedicated HTML downloader. 1.2Gb file, download speed ranged from 100kbps to 350kbps
- I tried downloading the patch through Maple's auto patcher. ETA... never. It got stuck at 2/3 at around 58Kbps and stood there for 4 hours.
Basically Nexon's server capacity has been shot and it's not up to full capacity and I'm really sure that's the problem. So you can relax it's not you haha. Good luck waiting!

I've downloaded the file from the update page, but they both are the same file. Right?

Well that's the problem, I have been doing that for over 2 hour and my internet speed is over 30 megabytes per second. So there must be something am doing wrong.
nah, don't worry. it's just a really big part of the file it has to copy and install over. let it sit overnight is my best answer. you don't need to stare at the installer to let it run, unlike older installers, so i'd say let it do it's thing and if your computer isn't utterly terribad, you should wake up in the morning and found that Maple is well and truly done updating.... except for that SC they have tomorrow morning T_T
