This thanksgiving is going to suck
So I'm making this thread to rant and leave my troubles here where it doesn't matter.
To start off, my grandma is real sick and I got this paranoia feeling that she might be going soon. My moms job no longer exist so her company let her go. My dad is getting old and still working at a warehouse he's been at for all his life; he's also getting sick occasionally X_X. My closest cousins parents divorced after 16 years of marriage and now their family is scattered. To make matters worst, the closest person to me; my best friend, stopped interacting with me nor cares about me anymore.
For everything that had happened, I put up the best fake happy image that I can; just to lie to myself and everyone else that everything is alright. Now, I know other people have it worse elsewhere but really? Timing couldn't have been more perfect for everything to fall apart. I did my best to keep things together.

I'm normally a non-caring, go-with-it type of person, I always look for the best but this week... there really isn't anything to smile about. Thanksgiving is suppose to be about coming together and being with the people you love.
For me, this Thanksgiving is going to be the best. Thanks for all the worries! How am I suppose to feel? I could care less!

I personally dislike stores opening there stores super early for black friday because it takes away from people spending time together.

my thanksgiving won't be that bad, but i don't have a job and have basically been indulging my depression and anxiety heavily since i moved. i feel like most of my family will back out on dinner plans and it'll just be me and my parents in some terribly awkward conversations. then i'll end up getting scolded, pitied, and worrying my parents...along with the potential for being forced into doctor appointments for more pills.

My grandfather is really sick aswell and the doctor says he only has around 1-2 weeks left to live and everybody in my family is crying, we might not even celebrate Thanksgiving or go to the Black Friday sales. But, just like you, im not going to let it bring me down either. Just going to think optimistic but be realistic
