Sorry if I'm showing too many links but these are evidence. So yeah this is my total spendings for cubes. In fact, all my cubes spent came from 2013 but I started in 2010.

Roughly how much money did you spend on cubes, if any?

Get cilbis and wait till red patch, then change to NL.

@MeNinjaTADA: MPE has Hat, Overall, Gloves and Shoe so 4% of each would sum up to 16%. Then adding another 6% on 3 Tempest equips would get you a total of 46% stat. So this amount of stat can beat clean Empress. I remember in the past that people complained to me saying that their damage range was much lower than me. This was the past when I didn't have Empress equips at all. I always used crafted equips:

How much would a pre-scrolled katara cost? I'm skeptical about buying one right now, because of inflations. Should I wait a while before looking for and buying one?

The Unleash set bonus is very similar to the 8th anniversary set. And I would actually get that 5 piece set of empress with that kind of funding and then work your way to a dagger/katara.

But isn't the senior set 4 pieces? It's potentially 16% luk. I think that you'd need a very large amount of base luk to surpass Empress with the senior set. Not sure though.

Here's a tip;
1. Get a moonshadow katara, or any other high level tradeable katara
2. Get silent crusade scrolls (100%, add 2 att 2 all stats I believe), you get multiple by doing this on multiple characters, obviously
3. Hammer your katara
4. You now have a decent, FREE, katara :1

As a matter of fact, 4% equips you get from MPE already beat Empress set clean which is why you don't buy Empress set clean. I calculated that once and yes it is quite a fact. They're quite easy to get in general and MPE will be the #1 training spot because of the way how Nexon nerfed Jesters and Aliens.

Tempest 6% is also a good cheap way to get.

If Tyrant gear was in unleashed shop, it would piss off all the people who spend 15bil+ on it.

In the event I think unleashed store are selling Tyrant Coupons(Im assuming), you should by those to fund your db. Im guessing it'll help you by ALOT.

If you don't have the money to be able to buy good equips like i couldn't and can't i would find a good high watt from the events and then scroll them yourselves. However most of the better equipment that comes from events are not tradable after you equip them so if you want good equips do this but if you just want cash then good luck

Master Books shouldn't eat that up...oh wait. DB books prices rise every time they get re-released.

Still, if you're smart, you'll get a few 100% Mastery Books. (Without meso cost).

Dedicate some for investment.
Look at the event rewards. (Unique Potential, Chaos Scroll of Goodness). Wow, speculative profit much?

Get long-lasting gear. Such as eye-accessory and face accessory.

Weapon perfection.
