NX code from friend? o-O (Is this a hack)
So I was just chillin' in the FM, when my friend chats me. She says that she is quitting for college, and asks me if I want a free code for NX. I say "Sure", and she gives me a code. However, I'm suspicious because:
-She didn't know her own name (I asked if her name was ____ (fake name), and she said yes...)
-I'm pretty sure she's not old enough to go to college
-Earlier during the day, my other friend had this exact same thing happen to them (friend offering nx code)
So I'm wondering, is it possible to be hacked by trying to put in a fake NX code? I'm positive that it's not my friend on her account, and that it's a hacker.

you cant hack an account just by trying a code..... if it works great if it doesnt tell her it worked instant success to see if shes trying to hack u XD

There's this scam where people get hacked and they pretend to be their friends and then they refer to them to this site or something and you get hacked .-.

An educated guess would lead me to believe that entering the code for the cash shop (They will know which packets will be sent for it) would allow them to catch information, perhaps your login ID?

Oh alright, thanks I was wondering if I would somehow get hacked by just trying the code...although, she (the hacker) did tell me to tell her when I tried it
I could see this whole scam turning into a nightmare at night: a bunch of robots disguising as humans, pretending to be your friends, and all tricking you with the word "college" into a scam... scaaary stuff lol
