i'm at horntail right now and i did all the prequests and it won't let me in when i click "horntail's schedule" help please!

no i mean, is the ticket just to help you enter the ht cave? Or does it replace the badge as well?
So if i have the ticket, do i still need the badge to enter ht? Or can i have just the ticket (having faced ht already) and i can fight ht?

Not only the mark, you need 3 marks, and 3 boss certificates to complete a quest that gives you the certificate of dragon squad. It lets you skip the PQ.
OT: Did you do ^? Are you in the right channels 8/9?

you still need a full party to go fight ht, they dont need to be online tho

@Thiefy996 you need full party with you at the cave to enter the htpq. You obtain the marks throughout the pq which is required to get the badge (make sure you have the quest first). Once you finish the pq, you have the opportunity to fight ht if you wish.
Once you have the badge, you just need full party in exped, doesn't matter if they're online or not, to fight ht.
You either need a party of 6 to clear HTPQ or mark of the dragon squad. It's not glitched.
You need the Mark of the Squad, or (some number of) people to do the HTPQ with you
