Clash of Clans - New clan

So I recently started my own clan in Clash of Clans because of the recent update that brought clan levels.
I thought "So long as I donate to people and fill their castles, winning the wars shouldn't be difficult and we'll unlock perks."
Sadly, I soon realized that starting a clan is a pain. People will join and leave in a heart beat for no reason.
Any tips on how to keep people or even recruit them?

In case anybody is wondering, the clan name is "LegendaryHeroes" named after the "The Legend of the Legendary Heroes"
Clan tag

Be active, establish rules, don't pick up randoms in chat. Let people know how often they should donate, decide whether there should be a donation ratio, tell them how often they will do clan wars, have active high levels to donate high level troops for war, and don't give away elder status or co-leader to just anyone. The more organized your clan is, the better chance you will avoid clan hoppers. good luck!
