Are you kidding me Nexon?
I've been saving my nx for a long time. This was because I was waiting for a once a year event but missed it. So I was waiting for the event again. Here's a letter I got from Nexon.
Hello Nexon Player,
We thank you for your continued support of our games.
This is to notify you that your unused NX on your Nexon Passport may be subject to expire.
After reviewing your account, Nexon America has learned that your NX balance on your Nexon Passport has remained unchanged for over a year. You can avoid the expiration by either charging your account or purchasing an item in the game using NX, but if no new transaction of NX occurs by January 31, 2013, your remaining 5,000 NX on your account will expire.

It does stated when you purchase nx it expires...
Never heard of expiring nx... Add some preservatives and salt to it.
Find the cheapest NX item, probably a 1NX item if the Santa hat is still up for sale (lasting a week).
Other than that, there's a 99nx item available

I read the nexon cash section of the terms of use and I believe there's no mention of nexon cash itself expiring, only nx items expiring.
I do believe that unless they stated in the terms and conditions that you agreed too this whole situation, they can't legally do this. If in the terms and conditions for buying nx they did not post this in there, it is a breach in the contract therefor could be sued for it. I don't know, all I can say is read the terms and conditions for once.

Thing is though, I don't really want to spend more money just so I can keep the nx that I already had.
Try doing one of those easy offers from Nexon for a while, and then buy a super cheap item in the CS? Like the 99nx santa items or the 1k items.

Buy one 99 nx item. Then you're good since that changes your balance.
