I think it's more of a cake, if you look at it nutrient content wise, particularly the butter and sugar. When I made it, it was more similar to baking muffins rather than bread.
A cake in the shape of a loaf. Like carrot cake, except bananas instead of carrots.
Cakes usually have eggs and a large portion of sugar while bread doesn't so i think it depends how you make it. (also bread usually is made with yeast while cake is not)

Whenever ive eaten it it was more of a muffin-like feel.
Dont know if my banana bread is just weird or something but thats what it feels like.
But since its not an option i guess ill say its more of a bread.
