Hero vs. Phantom

So I have a 140 phantom and a 120 UA Hero right now. I really like the play style of both however I guess it's down to which character I want to main now.
So, I have enough funds to get 5 set empress on my hero and already have 5 set on my phantom. At the moment I'm slightly leaning towards maiming my hero since the first character I ever made aaaages ago was a fighter, and hero books are far cheaper than phantoms.

So would you recommend that I main my hero or phantom? I find both equally fun, so I guess now its down to how good heroes are at bossing and mobbing compared to phantoms. What sort of things should I expect when playing my hero?

Well, I have a Aran. A really high leveled one. But, if it were implying I didn't, then yes. I would make one assuming I have a clean slate and unbiased opinion on them.

I used to love Arans... I played one and spent like 5B on it, I had some pretty good equips, then I got hacked, all that stuff gone.
I know you aren't asking me but I wouldn't play an aran even if they got buffed like that... too many painful memories
Don't pick a class because of damage or it being "better". Three months from now that class could take a giant nerf into mediocrity.

Pick a class because you like it more than the other one and want to play it.
Being weak is not fun. Fact. Besides, bossing is like the main point of Maple.

Edit: most of you say phantoms are better at bossing so I guess I'll stick with my phantom and just play the hero when I feel like it.

Depends on funding level. Heroes have a lot more DPM than phantoms (when both classes have Hyper Skills at least) if you don't count the dmg cap but only slightly more than half as many mils/second so if you can fund a Phantom enough they are better but if you can't do crazy levels of funding the Hero has much better %/second.

Play the phantom Heroes don't bloom until 170+ and even then they can't compete with phantoms at bossing.

Warriors compared to all other classes, except glaringly weak classes, are overall bad at DPS.

Hero is just one of the best of the warriors. Phantom is the way to go.
Phantom is a better bosser than hero. The Warrior dpms are all bad.
I heard that heroes are somewhat late bloomers, would you say a lvl 173 hero is still worse at bossing than a 173 phantom would be with the same funds?
