Auction and Forum Problems First I would like to discuss my auction problem. I tried to put up an auction and it said I successfully added an item to be publicly sold. I looked it up, and it was not listed, so I waited a day. The next day I looked my item up and it still wasn't displayed on the search results. I gave up.... (misses old auction system still) My next problem is with the forums. I haven't heard anyone even mention this problem, so it confuses me.... After I create a thread, before I can reply to another persons topic, I have to wait five min. I get the error, "You must wait five minutes before creating another thread." I am not making a thread.... I either am trying to respond to my own or another basilers chat secti
Annoying change. Asks what server you are on for auctions. Ok well, I like to do price checks sometimes, and when I go to check to see, lets say a pair of earrings, I will click on the earring link and then scroll through. If the earrings are not on that server, I would just click over through all the servers until I find a pair. Now, I have to click the back button to change my server, click the earrings link, and then check again. If it isn't there, I have to repeat this process over and over. There was no reason to even change it. I want it changed back. D: EDIT: Also I dont like the fact that nx items are mixed right in there with the meso items. I mean wth? o.O It should obviously be in a different section completely. AND WHY ARENT THE
This site needs "Report Categories" to help decide urgency So often, I see mods who are trying their best to get rid of bad threads. However, they often overlook hidden ones or not obvious thread titles. It always bugged me when I see links to vulgar material that take 4 or 5 hrs to delete, but threads that are named, Oiwjif! would be deleted in 2 seconds. You know the mods are on, but you dont really know which ones, and there is no way to express urgency in a report. They get around to it in order. (as far as I know) I don't think they even have a system that bumps up reports to the top if multiple people report it. (again, as far as I know. Correct me if im wrong) Anyways, my idea would be that you can choose the category that
Mr. B Lied! D: He said that he would delete the ads on the sidebar that took you to the meso buying site. (Don't click if you are scared. After all, it is a meso buying site so who knows.) A lot of people reported this and he told them all he would block the ad. Why is it not gone yet? Should I .... resend.... again? o.O I waited a really long time and I still see the ad.
Why doesnt Basil have an Auction Forum? Everyone tries to spam what they are selling in the general maplestory chat area. So, why not have a forum to sell items? It would be kind of interesting. I wouldn't have to wait to place or receive bids. Basil would get a group of people who are ready to spend some cash, and a group of people that are ready to sell, all in one spot. You could chat back and forth in real time and make a deal. If there is a good item for a good price, it will sell. If it is too expensive and the buyer wont budge or it is a crappy item, then it will get pushed to the bottom of the forum over time. Mr. Basil could even set it up so the titles of the forum listings are just the items up for sale. Here are some thoughts on
The basil ticket responses are getting as generic as nexon's "Hello br333, thank you for taking the time to send us a ticket. The staff has read your ticket and taken it into consideration. If you don't see any action taken then it was decided either that no action was required based upon the information provided. There will be no further response/action to this ticket." I know basil probably has to deal with a high volume of tickets, but a little ACTUAL feedback would be nice. A simple yes or no would suffice. If they don't have a response or are unsure, they should think of the answer before sending back a generic letter.
Auctions that have ended need to say the potential! Whenever I am price checking, I see auctions that have ended that are super high and at first I didnt know why some were so expensive. I then realized the potential of items doesnt show up on completed auctions. It makes price checking really hard. Does anyone else think this would be helpful?
