Do you ever get bored of games?
Maybe I just need to find some I'd be interested in, but recently, I'm just really bored of games altogether.
I really want to find a good online game, I really want to find good console games, I really want to play a good game in general, but at the same time I don't.
I love video games and I want to go into game development as a career, but they just seem so stale and repetitive recently.
Am I losing interest, or are games just getting boring?

God, I lost interest in games for sure. But I continue to buy them as a collection kinda thing. But I have over ten games that I bought, hoping that I'd find something fun in them again and play them, but really they're still in their plastic wraps.
i find taking a fat dab then playing some video games are fun
I'm the same way honestly, especially for League of Legends. I started the game exactly one year ago and when I did, I absolutely loved it. I couldn't get off of it and I enjoyed every minute playing it. But now that I've played literally only League for the year, it's not as fun as it used to be. I managed to make platinum but I played like 1k ranked games over the season. The only thing that is stopping me from quitting is my 5s team with my friends and the fact that I know I can hit high diamond/masters tier next season and that's what I wanna get to before quitting the game. As for my 5s team, I enjoy playing with them but we hardly play together...It's like once a week or something.
It took me almost 4 1/2 years, but you will get bored of it eventually. Trust me, playing one map repeatedly really seats down on you.

When I get bored of games to the point where I don't even want to log in, I occupy myself with things that interest me.
the problem is that there are very few creative ideas left in the gaming industry - now a days its the same games, no new IPs.
I recommend going back and playing some of the old systems like some of the older nintendos or ps1 or something
As a kid I enjoyed video games but I never owned that many because my parents wouldn't buy them for me, as a late teen/adult I only turned to video games as a means to escape loneliness. So now I buy video games but I'm really dispassionate about them. The only games I play and enjoy are series that I have emotional attachment to (zelda, kingdom hearts, etc)
So idk. Find a new hobby. You don't always have to enjoy the same things.

Dunno why I'm quoting you to say this, but I have to say that Sunset Overdrive looks pretty good.. so at least there's one game I'd like to play.
