DrK vs Zero vs Changing Branches

Ever since the ''nerf''; I've started to find my DrK horribly boring. I just got the motivation to get it passed 201 yet it doesn't make me enjoy playing it. I've tried so long to build up funds on it and get high dmg, Right now I'm at about 29m per line of Gungirs Descent fully self buffed. I know the Nerf didn't change much and to be honnest, I barely noticed it in terms of numbers. I was lvl 194 before the nerf, Once the nerf happened I hit 195 and got the 20% dmg buff for gungir so... whats lost came back.

Its just that the factor of not being able to use the main skill as long as you want to is just so hard on DrKs now. Before I had almost enough buffduration% to make it last forever, But now even with the amount I had Its still atleast half/half. The DMG I do on Dark Impale tbh; Is horrible I find compared to just spamming Gungir. It drops by a ton of DMG per line and in lines. I've never really enjoyed classes with this factor. (More or less applies to some Hyper skills, ATT buffs, or shadow partner I dont really mind, But the hyper skill somewhat bothered me too on demon slayer for example).

Looking at my gear, There will be many things trapped on my character if I keep it there (30%+ str pinnacle ring, 30%str+ tempest ring, % shoulders and so on), I will be able to transfer a big majority of my good stuff however like the usual Gollux, Tyrants, RootAbyss..... Will cost alot in karma too though. I've heard some player say that she had like 900k range on her DrK, transfered what she could on zero and had 500k range and did more dmg than her Drk. Is that possible? I don't know much about Zero in terms of depth and capabilities, I have one lvl 180. Right now self buffed I am at 1.1M range on my DrK; Figureing I want to switch, I rather go for something I wouldn't mind but seek damage.

Should I transfer whatever I can do Zero, Or switch to Hero or Paladin.
If not my next idea would be to go either Dawn Warrior or Thunder breaker, DW hasnt impressed me so far, im at lvl 120 and have 100k range and am dissapointed by the numbers. Thunder breaker I havent seen 4th job but I heard its good and I'm loving the 1-3 jobs. The biggest pain would be to get new equips all over again to this point.Though;

I would like best information pls;

TLDR:
Drk is boring me, I have 1.1m range self buffed and want to swtich to either Zero, Hero, Paladin, Dawn Warrior or Thunder breaker.

Considering funding and items scrapped when leaving DrK for a Zero or a Dawn Warrior, Would it be best to change to hero or paladin?
Would Thunder Breaker be a really good pick even considering I have to sell/trade my warrior gear to start a whole new class?
Is Zero with the transferable equips enough to beat my DrK in terms of DPM

Finally I switched to Zero. Have a few extras to transfer once I get NX, but I moved most of my RA and Tyrant, etc.
At 300k Range... VS multiple enemies I do way better than DrK.. 1v1 I am not sure of skill comboes but I did decent.. around same speed
@branzx2: If you want a class that is geared for bossing, consider these classes.

1) Shade - Probably the best bosser in every single boss (some class can do better in some boss, but Shade can do them all from Very doable to Very good).
2) Hero - As mentioned.
3) Night Walker - It has the "dark" theme that a Dark Knight has, but it is up to your preference.
4) Zero - Just because they can kill the fastest, which is the thing for maplestory
5) F/P - I personally don't like them due to the mist, stacking DoT and whatnot. But they are a solid class in bossing nonetheless, especially when it comes to those boss who have elemental resistance.
I enjoy the FP or Bishop game play, But in bossing its not my style. Same with NW
Hero, Would I see an increase in DMG and better results?
And I am wondering about Shade, Is it really have such capabilities?
Instead of numbers, why not try to love a class?

OT : Zero is the "best" pick in your list. Other classes have their issues.
Unless you can hit cap on it just using moon stance, Dawn Warrior relies a lot on latency / ping to maximize his damage; and that combo is extremely dangerous on boss like Magnus.
Thunder Breaker is very squishy. He also cannot pot while chaining and you need an extra effort on accurate timing to stop your chaining on boss that DR.
Paladin is boring as hell. Otherwise it is an okay class in term of dealing damage, but the most OP in defense. It also has an excellent support ability.

Hope it helps.
I have 3 pages of classes level 100+.
I actually loved DrK, The changed we got many times changed my opinion on it yet I always adapted to it and still liked it. But most recent changes is what really got to me while thinking of all the past changes.

I have a few semi funded Mages I really enjoy to play, I dont do nothing serious on em. I train in SH with friends or go on expeditions as a bishop or dmg dealing with FP.. Put some tyrant and RA on it. Same with a few other classes.

However DrK was my favorite one so I decided to fund it and make it my best character, But now it really bores me because its not at 100% potential for a good 50% of the time and the boring movement feeling combined with Dark Impale.

I want something better to use specifically for ''TRYHARD'' bossing and training.

However, Thanks for the Info. I didnt consider the TB pot thing and it is something that would probably annoy me.
If youre looking for damage, don't go to a paladin. Post star force, there was a horrible pally nerf, and I'm doing about 40% of my old damage. My friend with a little under my range is hitting like 2.5x more than me
I figured Paladin got hard; I read many things on it. However, I'm wondering against a boss or even training using a fully buffed Hero, Would me Dark Impale out damage the Raging blow? And finally in 1v1 on a boss, Fully buffed Hero vs Fully buffed DrK, Which would hit harder?
Yea, I changed from DrK to Zero when I found out that I had to wait a total 40 seconds to spam Gungnir for 30 seconds.
Right now, I hit less than what I used to do on DrK, but surprisingly I get faster Dojo times as well as higher lines on Hyper (which is 50mil damage for me).
So basically, Less per line but more DPS/DPM
