Evan vs F/p vs Bishop

Well, Im looking for a bossing class thats strong. So far I'm thinking more about FP but considering bishop since they have HS and train faster to a higher level. I dont know how strong Evans are now hoeer and Im wondering. Also what about BaM

I also enjoy I/L but find them weak.

@duriel123: Pretty sure high speed angel ray with their hyper on wins over any explorer mage on bosses.

@c5548christine A minor note, apparently if you can cap with f/p they actual win out over i/l and bishop in terms of dps because of inferno aura + DoT, but i/l caps but easier with chain lightning compared to f/p with paralyze.

@branzx2 If you want quick dmg without much fund f/p is the easiest among all, bishop will be the toughest. But, if you have a lot of funds and have your bishop hits cap on bosses, it can be better than f/p. But, honestly no point in getting so much dmg on a bishop unless you enjoy it. I heard i/l wins over f/p if you hit cap.
As for training, I won't waste my meso to job transfer so I can train. Even though I'm a bishop I rarely remember to hs myself.
But, if you somehow can get at least 1 or 2 other bishop to train together then it's definitely worth it at sh.
Youtube Daesius and you can see some of his bossing videos as f/p and i/l. You will find my bishop dojo video as well.

About BaM, they do decent amount of dmg with a low range, especially with the aura, but it's all useless once you hit cap. Also, I don't think you will like the new BaM "revamp". Pretty much changing their aura, and you won't have all 3 together... or something like that. I haven't really look at the details. BaM hyper also sucks a lot... I only played mine because I like the way their skills look. I think I have over 200k range, and I do around 1m dmg on mobs. I think you can hit about 10m dmg with dark shock in boss mode. Problem is dark shock only does 1line dmg, and it's kinda slow. With the hyper skill, you can do 3 (or 4 i don't remember) lines of dmg, but also reduces the dmg on each line to 1/3 (or 1/4).

Bishop: probably the worst choice if your looking purely for damage. They lack elemental reset and bosses in general tend to be resistant or sometimes immune to holy. They have pretty amazing support skills though for bossing parties.

Evans: does high damage and attacks quickly. With exception to F/Ps, they are the easiest mage class to cap. Lack of lines may be a turn off.

F/P: does high damage only if you keep up DoTs. Easiest mage class to cap.

BaM: pretty much the consensus is that they will be getting a devamp. They also lack elemental reset and the devamp was pretty lackluster in giving them a elemental reset.

I/Ls: they're getting a pretty large damage boost soon.

Well, that's an easy desicion: F/P mage. Or if u want to and have the coin and/or mesos, play bishop and then switch out at like 200 or something.

Bishops will almost always win out when it comes to training.
F/P or Evan for damage and bossing ability, bishop for training.
Well, F/P is definitely the strongest bosser in terms of damage. Easy to get high range and the only class (other than i/l) to get elemental reset. Huge bonus to some bosses.
Among the mages, lumi and evan actually have elemental reset as well. But yea, F/P definitely boasts the highest DPS on bosses. Evan would be a close second in terms of bossing ability.
