I need help with Rng Abuse
I'm RNGing for a shiny stationary in White2 on a DS Lite. I really want to get this over with, as I got the game a few weeks after it came out and I'm stuck only because I want a certain shiny. Since X and Y are almost out, I [b]really[/b] want to get my White 2 finished. I found a pretty good seed [url=http://i39.tinypic.com/hrmxco.png]here[/url], so I enter it into the reporter and start at the calculated starting frame [url=http://i40.tinypic.com/17qoa8.png]here[/url]. Since the day is 9/16/13 time is 9:17:38, I set my DS date. I set the clock on my DS and hit the [url=http://i41.tinypic.com/2sbtq3n.png]EonTimer[/url]. I restart my DS and wait for the last beep and then hit the game to enter. I do not hold buttons until after the Game Freak screen and then hit "A" to progress forward. After that, I got in without the C-Gear. Then, I progress my four frames but do not get the shiny when I meet my Pokemon. What did I do wrong?

I'll probably do that when I build my mono-steel team. I want this Virizion to be completely legitimate because it will feel odd having a wild one sit there and have a hacked one in my PC/party. Y'know? Yes, it is more difficult than my White version. However, I got determination.

This. You're better off using a program that can give you Pokemon that can pass hack checks.
Also: I've heard Black 2/White 2 are lame to RNG. White/Black and HG/SS are supposedly easier
Just Pokegen and make the PID's and everything 100% legit.
There's literally no difference when you use those pokemon.

This seems a lot more complicated than a simple RNG abuse. When I think of RNG Abuse, I think of Fire Emblem PoR where you'd keep reloading your save until the stat gain on your level up came out the way you wanted. This seems more like modifying or exploiting, but then I'm not fully sure what the heck all that means since I haven't played pokemon since Ruby/Sapphire lol.

Except these are extremely easy to track and will get you banned immediately in any sort of competitive scene.

holy crap, i had no idea that such an app existed. i am downloading it right now on my ipod LOL. wow. i'm going to borrow my cousin's R4 and test this out!
Put the extra time in Pokesav to make a legit looking Pokemon with legit stats and save yourself the time if you have work and/or college.
