Error report on start up So I just decided to come back to maple after a long time away today. I downloaded it and blah blah. Then I went to start it up and it gets past Hack Shield and Black Cipher and whatever the hell, but then before the game starts at all, I get Error Report. It doesn't even tell me what the error is. Just has a "Send" button or whatever, like to send it to NEXON. I saw that there's a fix where you download Microsoft Framework 3.5, but when I did that, it downloads and as it's installing, it goes to SET UP FAILED. (Just after it says I can close the Internet.) I was wondering if anyone could help me figure this out. It'd be most appreciated. Cheers.
Why does Hack Shield have to own me? It's not loading, and this is like my fourth time trying after doing a reinstall! it's driving me insane! Please help in any way? :D.
steps to running Maple on mac Ok, so I use VMare Fusion and I have Windows 7 on there, and Maple installed on the Windows 7. But when I start the game, I get Error Report. I know there are quite a few tricks to getting it running. I've done a few, but I was wondering if someone could list them so I can just go through the list and try figuring this out. I really just want to play the game again.
I need help on allocating my SP after BB. o_o. 1. How many SP will I get if I'm still 121 when the patch takes place? 2. How should I distribute them? 3. I was planning on: -max FJ -max SP -10 or so Bstep -5 assassinate -1 venom -1 shifter -max bot, assaulter, max meso guard, max meso mastery. -max dark sight -max shadow reflection or whatever it's called. -max mastery, booster, and haste. -max Dark Flare Will I have enough? :|. I don't mind on skipping maxing FJ to make sure I can get Mastery or whatever I might not have enough for. If someone takes the time to help me out, it'd be greatly appreciated.
Is 8 ATK WG too mediocre for fourth jobbers? Well, my 115 CB's range only ends in 2900 since I blew up my 10 ATK WG with a clean slate scroll 1%. So, when I get 25k NX, will I have enough to; Face change once. (VIP). Trans hat. Water of Life. Binoculars. Auto HP for Pet. Auto MP for Pet. How much would I have left? And with the left over NX, sell it for 1:12, and get an 8 ATK WG? Can I do all this? I'd do this myself, but I'm going to bed in like, two minutes. T^T
MapleStory cannot run under a virtual machin I'm using MacBook Pro. I just installed Maple completely today. I use VMare 2013. Anyway, everything was working. Then I got the error saying it cannot be run under a virtual machine. I changed the value of 000 to nothing, and modified the one text file. But I'm getting the error still. Is this because of the recent patch? Or are there any other steps to fixing it?
%/hr post BB? If anyone could tell me the average %/hr of Shadowers POST BB, that'd be cool. Just curious. Also, how should I allocate my skill points when they all get reset? :|. I'll have... 101x3, so 303. Then 3 from fourth job advance, 1 from third job advance, 1 from second job advance, and one from first job advance. So I'll have 310 SP. :S. Anyway, yeah! Also, could you please note other notable things? Like, pot burn, trained with ___, etc.
I want to play omg. Why can't I get past Hack Shield? It's driving me insane. I've restarted my computer over 10 times now! My internet is fine, but I can't get past it for some reason. It was working yesterday, so I system restored to yesterday, hoping it would work. But nope. Please help, this is driving me crazy. I don't want to have to quit my 128 Bowmaster, having Ascension just come out. Note: I run Windows XP.

Hack Shield Y U NO WERK Ohmygosh, so frustrating! I came home from work, wanting to go on MapleStory and scroll my new bow. But guess wut. Hack Shield gets stuck at two bars! So naturally, I end HSUpdate.exe in my process list. It closes the animation loading thingy, but remains in the list. So if I plan to start the game again, I have to restart my computer.... -.-. Help?
