Lag when killing mobs

When I kill mobs, I lag for about a second. Anyway to fix this? It's really annoying when training...

Would really appreciate the help.

@BrokenKarma Just to compare my old computer with my new computer. I used to hold 30 FPS regularly, like in this screenshot:
http://www.basilmarket.com/MapleStory-Demon_Avenger_HP_Cap_Achieved_-Damage_Range-Screen-231642.html
And when I turn on my screen recorder, it drops below 10 frames:
http://www.basilmarket.com/MapleStory-Phantom_Chaos_Vellum_solo__finally_-Boss-Screen-231651.html
(5 frames per second in this screenshot)

Every time I killed 1 mob, lag spike. Pet loot would simply not work either. It would DC me.

New computer:
60 FPS recording and non recording
3 pets with loot, no problem.
massive mobbing, no problem.

The difference for me was night and day, given, the old computer I had wasn't too bad either. Maybe it is time for an upgrade.
Maplestory's a 2D sidescroller, so you would imagine it to not be that laggy, but everyone that I've talked to so far that knows their stuff about computers has said to me that Maplestory's most likely a very poorly coded game that stacks and stacks their codes and just makes the thing all laggy.

Happens, you probably just need to invest in a better computer if your internet speed is at least over 6mbps down.
Increasing the performance of your computer is vital in Maplestory if you do not wish to lag (at least FPS wise).

But, unfortunately in some cases it is pretty much impossible to get rid of that weird lag while training.
You'll just need to get a better computer or upgrade its parts.

It is most likely a computer issue, if it was a game issue or an internet issue, you would experience delay-lag. The only way to fix this is to upgrade your computer, or turn off other applications, stuff like chrome and Skype actually take up a bit. Also, if you train in a map with crazy drops, it could eventually cause lag. Also like above, lower graphics and effects, muting sound also helps very slightly, remember to make sure to change the map design to basic, it reduces lag by alot and actually shows you ropes/ladders.

Have you tried lowering your resolution/graphic system settings?

@RealSoulja Haven't started it, but thanks for the tip.

@CherryTigers That may be it but my computer is pretty decent. Still, that might be the problem.

I tried literally everything possible to try fixing that but it never worked. Got a new computer and problem was solved.
