The OP just said he needed some ideas for a research report in chemistry. Meth relates to chemistry.

Well technically ap chem is pretty much a basic chem class in college.

You say "research paper" which makes you sound like a masters student writing an important paper but you are just a high school student? I never had the opportunity to take AP classes in my region but you could try studying the density of water near 0 to 5 degrees. Water is remarkable in that its density actually increases for a short temperature range making ice less dense and float above liquid water.
