Is 5 piece lvl 140 set worth it?
I've been wondering this for a while so looking for some help from the basil community to help me decide.
Which is better, as in, will give a better range?
3rd tier % gear (assuming you have 15+ ATK gloves, 27 atk VSS) and each piece has at least 6% stat?
Or
Getting 5 pieces of the emperess gear (assuming each piece excluding the glove has 5 atk, and the glove is 32 atk) but this gear is clean or 3%?
I know the 140 set gives a lot of stats, weapon isn't an option as it is for phantom, but is emperess worth losing over 36%?

It's the thief equipment, as stated it's for a future phantom. Plus to get 32 ATK gloves that's 9 GM GFA so that's 1b alone, plus I will be using epic potentials for some and chaos/m.chaos to get at least 5 ATK. So it could be billions giving those factors.

Please read his comment carefully, he said gone on a UNIQUE but available on a LEGENDARY. I know people who spents [b]millions[/b] of NX cubing weekly and NONE of them have ever gotten 36% on ANY stat. It's not impossible, but it is implausible enough to not warrant discussion, especially when TS is talking about rare/epic items.
OT: I would go with empress gear (assuming you can wear it without having to put points into your secondary) just because it's better on the long run. As for short term range differences, I would imagine Empress would still be better (but not by much) given that it's all 3% or better. Another thing to remember is that 5 set gives you +2 skill (does not go over max skill level, however) that could be pretty useful.
Edit: Just to add, it is impossible for anyone to give you a definitive answer on what is better for your range, because there are too many other variables that affect the outcome (your other items' total +main stat, their %, your weapon potentials, your level, etc).

I can afford it, just wasn't looking to do it right away hence why I'm asking what is better with the stats listed. Ofc I'm not an idiot, I know cubed emperess gear is better, anyone can see that. My question basically relates to will a large % or will more ATK with less % give a better range
@Forcefull and @MadinaLake I'm asking with the stats listed b/c I wasnt looking to cube a whole lot. I wasn't intending to spend a lot on cubes to try and get the same amount of stat that's why I questioned between the two scenarios.
If I'm spending billions to get the set I don't want to have to spend hundreds on top of that to get amazing % stats. I already have the other % gear so it would simply be selling that for emperess if that proves to be the better solution.
So more input would be nice as the poll is so close

if not 12/12/12 then just get all the set to 12/9/9 its still pretty godly imo
Go for empress since Pirates use overalls already and you could get amazing pots.

I would get top+bottom with 6%, and then Shoes, Gloves, Hat, and Cape with 3%, because you'll get an extra 15 weapon attack. (And 15% more hp and mp from the 3 piece set. )
You could easily get 36% on one Empress equip
empress = end game.
start cubing and mchaosing them beasts to 20 atk+ and 21% stat each and you'll be beast.
it's a slow process however. wasted 5b and counting on mchaos and empress eqps.
can't wait for empress to be fixed so i can actually get my weapon.
when i got empress set clean (still missing weapon recently got the cape) i compared it to my reverse that was near perfectly 60% and my czak that was +6 60%
and it raised my damage range by like 5k-10k and the only part of empress i had that had potential was the gloves at time
the fact empress gives lets say for mages 16int 16luk 5m.att gloves vs. lets say 12m.att gloves
empress mage gloves clean of course is only 50damage range less then a pair of gloves with 12m.att
long run empress set would be best. and if you ever fight empress here she gets fixed in dual blade reorganization update the set effect will be helpfull due to her disable potential skill she has
Losing 36% + stat wasn't so bad . I lost like45% switching over to empress,but my range is better than ever now it went from 23-25k to 38-40k
