If the code isn't fully scratched off, the it should be fine. If its not fully revealed they can't say you used the card since you can't get the code. If its fully scratched off your probably screwed.
first write down the numbers on the card, leaving a ? mark for the one you don't know. also write down possibilities for the ? if you can slightly see it.
then go to the store and ask them for a new one, because you accidentally scratched it off. after getting this new card, scratch it more carefully this time and get your nx.
after this, take the first code and try to guess the ? mark until you get the nx
Oh god... LOL
& Sht, you should've gotten the real code, scratched it off like a "mistake" get another card for free. I'ma try that. x.x
Yeah seen this before.
Maybe the good karma you get from giving 1% of your purchase to charity would save you when you lie to them about scratching off your code and it breaking XD
Check the reciept. Some stores print the card code on it.
already did, there was a long list of numbers, but no letters unfortunately
EDIT- looked on back of receipt for Gamestop's return policy,
"Opened new merchandise may be exchanged for the identical item within 30 days of purchase but, with the exception of opened new accessories, cannot be returned with a refund."
SCORES
Omg this almost happened to me once I had a heart attack
I love this reaction.
NEXON wont do anything is on the TOS if you break it or horribly scratch it they wont refund.
Check the reciept. Some stores print the card code on it.
once my code was damaged some but I was lucky and guess that it was a 0 or o.
Good think you didn't get it from Rite Aid, they would probably kindly show you the door. I should know, I work there and we're technically supposed to never ever return prepaid cards. And I know that nx is to maplestory players as crack is to about a tenth of the customers I deal with, so pardon me for not being able to prove that you didn't use the card and then scratch it off lol because people try that kinds stuff. We can at least prove if any phone card/etc activates, not sure there is a way to check the balance on a karma card at the store....at any store actually.
And no, I actually believe you, I'm just talking about regular people who would do anything to pretend they were screwed when they really were not.
Right.
If you look back in my earlier posts to this thread I keep on questioning the people who say they got it returned, and this is pretty much what I suspected.
(still worth a try tho)
oh no! end world!
O-o You're lucky if you can get refunds on cards, where I live, once you buy it no refund or exchange for any reason.
What do?
Idk next becareful and gentle when you are revealing the code for the treasure. Because if you damage something you bought without insurance its unrefundable.
Sucks buying from gamestop because of the tax they charge ... Well atleast the one that's over here.
No tax on mine today!
do not use a quarter or a dime. because of the little ridgged part on the side it might damage the code. use a penny or a nickle. i use these two and no a single problem.
Will do next time. Thanks
@all
Thanks for all your responses!
I don't think I would have tried going back to return it without your experiences.
Thanks a ton!
Alight kewl.
Hopefully it is quick because I may not be able to go back to the Gamestop for over a week.

@bufsabre: Nexon will probably ask you a few questions, keep the receipt just in case, they'll likely reply quick since its NX related.

If its the last 4 digits of the code check ur receipt, it should show it, if not send a ticket to nexon.
No, just checked and it has the card number, but that isn't the code. Maybe there is a way to find the code from that?
Already sent a ticket.
desperate much? JKJK idk i use a penny everytime and that never happens to me
