So from what im hearing, there really isnt a way that it could melted my motherboard?
Any guess wut else it could be?
Looking bak in the past, i guess all i can think of is that the computer was a bit old (bought when it was like 2006 or 2007) .
It was a bit dirty.
Any other suggestion?

If your power supply can support it there should be no problems.

It's a fairly low-tier graphics card, so unless you were gaming for 24+ hours straight, I don't really see how it melted your mobo.

hmmm, well i assume that becuase the graphic card is plugged into the motherboard, that they are sharing the power together.
But becuase im a computer noob, can you tell me wut u mean by power supply failure more detailed? Thanks

You sure it wasn't a power supply failure?

I wouldn't be surprised if a random computer couldn't power a GPU you added.

I do not see how unless the installation was not done properly.
