I would say buying/Selling NX is against TOS, but people say it's wrong yet they still do it. It's just like people buying duped traces/scrolls/nebs and then go on the thread saying it's wrong.

You need vouches, and legit vouches from people you know, or know won't scam.
You can deny the transaction unless they go first.
You SHOULD contact the guild leader about this. However, maple is so empty lately that people just accept randoms applying for the guild.
You are PROBABLY not getting a compensation, but it's only 10 dollars and that is an hour of work or so. Do not feel so bad about it since you're throwing it on a game anyway, the money is as good as lost.

That's why I don't go first. I've been scammed 3 times. The third time I got scammed, I was done going first.

However, if you'll allow me to, I would like to speak to the O.P further. @bumblexxxbee if you are that concerned about your nx, it would have been wise to get a vouch, however, even that wont help you in some cases either. All I can say is work towards getting your nx back. I don't know if you have a job or what not, but be patient, sooner ir later, your nx will come back. Also, don't ever post thay u bought or sold nx on basil, it really nacks the deputies on basil, and it gives them a reason to do some crazy crap to teach lessons and what not
I wonder what Mr.Basil is up to.

Then the leader of the guild is responsible for compensating you and taking responsibility for that member who scammed.
That's what a good leader does at least. If the leader refuses to do anything, then that guild should be removed from the alliance.
