Kennen or Riven?

I am wondering which champion can carry in solo queue. I like champions that could dominate in lane, and also provide good utility or dmg in team fights.
Riven is kinda hard to use, needs practice. And Riven early isn't that strong. If Riven does not do well early, she will be useless the rest of the game. But Kennen has other ways to be more useful then Riven even when not fed.
Riven has one of the BEST level 2 all ins.
These words.... is it possible to use them in a sentence like this?

And Jayce is getting pretty destroyed next patch too.
Is that an assumption or are there pbe notes?
I haven't been keeping up with the pbe notes recently.

Both are great, but honestly Kennen can be a little bit squishy. They have their own tricks as well.
To be honest, I'd rather have Riven because I like playing aggressively. Kennen can harass great early game though.
Riven gets better late game imo.

Kennen's getting some minor nerfs next patch but he'll still be good.

Riven you HAVE to play aggressive as all hell or you lose.

Kennen's the better pick imo.

kenen is meta right now. don't listen to any of these noobs. as kenen, you can just harras all melee champs b/c you have more range and they can't punish you because speed electric ball gets you away fast.

riven has to snowball to do well, but kennen ult can be absolutely gamechanging. You may want to wait until after the nerfs to kennen to see, I'm not sure how badly he'll be impacted by the duration of his marks going from 8-->6 seconds.

I like kennen but Riven is better. Riven has mobility, tankiness and damage. Kennen has to mark the opponent thrice to stun and he depends a lot in his ultimate during team fights. You have to get zhonya as well since he's squishy yordle. But Kennen is ranged so he isn't that bad if you win the laning phase.

I think Kennen is better in terms of team fight and utility. I was planning to save my IP for when Riven decreases in price but I decided to buy Kennen. Get hourglass and then R>Hourglass and you will have an advantage in the team fight cuz it does a lot of damage in a team fight. Plus Kennen has his E to like run away from ganks easily. I tried Riven long ago but didn't rlly like it, maybe if I play again I mite be about to do well with her.
