Pi =/= 3.14, Pi = 4!

Edit: Just so you guys understand, the flaw here is a misappropriation of the Riemann's sum.
In 1st year university (or possibly intro to calc, but definitely first year calculus) you will learn that the area under a curve can be determined by dividing it into rectangles. By reducing the width of each rectangle as close to zero as possible, and increasing the number of rectangles to infinity, we can approximate the area under said curve. The obvious answer to this is that you will either have an under or an over approximation of the actual area. This is where the derivative comes in.
This picture is, and always will be, a severe overestimation, and just a joke picture.

@daniel3b I just think it's funny
Call me a calculus geek, but I enjoy these sorts of fallacies
What does corners have to do with pi? O.O
Sorry, But I'm not convinced.
It'd never reach an actual circle, just a circle looking shape with an infinitesimal serrated edge.
The Troll Pi is ancient. And has been proven flawed numerous times.
Corners =/= a perfect curve
Also, stop following FYeahtrollface's tumblr.
cam there have been so many of these threads @__@ it's not a circle
It's never going to be a perfect circle.
this.
Mind = Blown.
*Does a barrel roll*
You can apply this same principle to the diagonal of a square.
This is some sort of fallacious math principle that I don't remember the name of.
The problem at hand is that you are using an incorrect form of the Reimann's Sum,
It works out to be an approximation error
Example
1/3 = 0.333333...
3 * (1/3) = 3 * (0.333333...)
1 = 0.999999...
It's still cool to see the reactions of people who know little about mathematics lol.
It's never going to be a perfect circle.
this
its going to be more like an octagon with 4 sides REALLY wavy
It's quite the revelation!
My life turned upside down mang...
What.. what if... D equaled... 2? MINDBLOWN
Wei shenme? WEI. SHEN. MEHHH!
OT: Wow. Never really thought of it that way. Props to the dude/betty who came up with it.
