She's actually not entirely wrong. If you fund a Battle Mage to the point where you can near-cap with Finishing Blow / Battle King Bar, it should be stronger than F/P. I'm already capping Flame Haze / Mist Eruption and I still have a long way to go with upgrading.
I don't even think you'd need to near-cap it. 35-40m's would probably even be enough, although let's be realistic, that would require a ridiculously insane amount of funding.
Seriously, I'm sick of people looking for the "best". Stop the whole "tryhard" crap and just enjoy playing. After all, there'll always be a new update that'll make the "best" class no longer "best" and you'll want to ditch the character you made for another and so on and so forth at nauseum.

fp has the most dps atm.

I've always loved the bishop job, now more than ever. It's just fantastic, but can't help drooling at F/P and BaM's raw power.

Practicality and probably fun? Bishop
There's no "best" class. But if you ask what's the best for [b]me[/b], then I'd say Arch Mage (Fire/Poison).
