Are you happy with your major?
For those of you that are attending (community) college, university, what-have-you...
1) Are you happy with your major? Can you briefly explain why, please?
2) What is your view on changing majors? In your opinion, is it ever too late to change majors?
Edit: 3) If you are unhappy with your major, do you plan to change it any time soon? If so, what is your current major and what do you plan to change to? (only if you feel comfortable sharing)

i have general distaste for everything so thats why i dont like my major
1. I love being a pure math major. Although I'm bombing the hell out of my quizzes in my proofs class like everyone else, I love the material. Plus I want to be a high school teacher really badly. :^)
2. I know a girl who changed her major 8 times. It's okay.
1. I'm enjoying it. I still like the overarching subject. Though I'm not enjoying some classes as much as I would like.
2. If you can afford to, go ahead. As long as you have the means, there's never a time that's too late to change, or start from scratch.
Hey guys, I'm a natural infp personality type but I don't want to go into jobs such as art or writing and I want a job that is very stable. Can u suggest me a degree or job?
1) I love majoring in Medical Physics. Its frustrating sometimes but in the end, its worth it.
2) Its probably too late to change majors when you get married and start a family.
1) I am content with my major because i like what i generally do but i require liberal courses and i hate that crap.
2) never too late. but the thought that you wasted money stings.
1. Science major first two years of university, got accepted to pharmacy school and currently in second year pharm. Dropping pharmacy school after this semester. Going back finishing my science major in the fall and adding a minor in computer science. Yes, I freaking hate science and want to get out of it ASAP.
2. Never too late. You can always go to grad school for something completely different than your major, that's why I'm doing a minor in computer science, applying to grad school for a master's degree in computer science.
3. Completing my major, then getting (hopefully) a master's in something completely different.
1. engineering and i dont know, i'll let you know when i have my Iron Man suit
2. well, i think its better to change early on maybe early Junior year at the latest, otherwise your gonna have to take core classes for your new major and that can add another year or two to your studies.
1. Computer Science major, its boring as hell
2. Its never too late, I just wouldn't since that would cost more money.
3. No, as much as I hate Computer Science, I am good at it.
1. Majoring in nursing, I would say im happy with it if i could comprehend all the medical classes, so i cant say im too happy with it
2. I dont think there is a point when its too late, but its just harder if you decide to later on, Im switching out of nursing this year cus ive been in it for only a year, so I only have to pay for some of the classes that i dont need for my next major.

Majoring in microbiology. I love it, it's great. It can be a little hard, but in the end I enjoy it. I just have a passion for biology. I don't really know how else to put it. lol
2) What is your view on changing majors? In your opinion, is it ever too late to change majors?
A lot of people choose their program, and while in school find something else that interests them more. You do you. Follow your passion, because you're doing it for you, not anyone else.
I like my major yes but I agree that I hate taking those other courses to fill in my WQB req's
Thanks to IB I won't have to take that many, but still... Don't want to waste my time and $ on classes I am not interested in
I'm on my phone so this won't be very long but yes I am happy with it. I enjoy programming and creating applications from scratch. What I hate is all the bull you have to take that has absolutely nothing to do with my major and that's what is taking up most of my time. I seriously hate this school system, it's garbage. I understand maths, sciences and writing classes but why do I have to take western civilization, intro to literature, sociology and psychology. Bunch of Bs classes that they force you to take to get more money out of you.
i major in makin chiken n fries n it sux
