I have a few questions about making videos
I've looked online for a good bit and I can't find anything on what to use to record/edit my videos with.
I want to make videos for youtube for fun, but I'm just so lost on how to start.

Here, I have the perfect solution for you. Recommendation to "PanjnoTutorials" on youtube, he has every software for free out there, (crack). Sony vegas, adobe after effects, premiere pro, alot of things, and I believe fraps (not sure)

Find a tutorial on youtube to crack Sony Vegas Pro. Tip: Don't record with a cellphone.
Bandicam is $40. It's for recording your screen. There's a free version with limitations though.
For editing, depends on what you want to do. Free ones can do basic tasks like cutting, effects, etc.
iMovie, Vegas, Premiere
If you're still noob then you can try Moviemaker. Unless if you have iMovie.
