Yut Wars guide
The goal is to get all 4 of your pieces around the board and off it
There are 7 possible rolls
-1 = Move one of your pieces back 1 space
0 = End your turn
1-3 = Move one of your pieces 1-3 spaces
4-5 = Move one of your pieces 4-5 spaces, roll again
When placing a piece from your hand onto the board, 1 is the first tile after the start, not on start itself
To move a piece, click a piece; either on the board or in your hand, then click the tile on the board (The piece selection seems un reversible)
An arrow will tell you where the piece should go
If one of your pieces lands on an opponents piece its called a "catch", the opponents piece gets returned and you get to roll again
If one of your pieces lands on your own piece it becomes a group that moves together, groups cannot be separated. This is risky because one of your opponents piece can catch all the pieces in a group but you will be able to score for all of them.
You have to land directly on the arrows to move that direction, you have to move in the new direction.
The start is also the last space, to get 1 point a piece has to leave the last space
A "goal" button should appear below the start tile if you can score a piece, click it to score

@MagicDate
Thanks ;o. Had no idea what I was doing the first time I played but I'm getting better at it now. If I had to compare this to an "American" game it'd probably be Sorry. Landing on people and sending them back to the start is similar to how Sorry is played.
If you roll a 1, then roll a -1, then roll another 1, You will go from
The space in front of start square, the start square, then finish. LOL
Just thought I'd share
Is there any reason why 4 and 5 gives another roll or is it just something Nexon included?
6th line under 'Game rules'...
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yut
It seems like it actually is an actual rule.
It's like the chinese version of "Fei-Hung-Kay"
Is there any reason why 4 and 5 gives another roll or is it just something Nexon included?
@miracleanime You'll see it as a 'Nak!'
@Shlafiry It you need 3 spaces to reach the end, rolling a 4 or 5 will get you to the 'Goal!' immediately. If you roll a 3, you'll reach the end point, but not get a 'Goal!'. You'll need to roll another time and unless a -1 or Nak! comes up, you'll reach the 'Goal!'
Can you catch em on the start?
When a piece goes around the board and reaches the start again its still on the board, to leave the board and for it to count as a point your need to roll a 1 or higher
In the meantime its possible for it to be caught
How do you win then, where do you need to place your soldiers in the end?
Can you catch em on the start?
Technically you can,
To get your piece out of the board, you have to get one after start. If you land on start then people can catch you with let's say a -1 from the first space. Or they can catch you by traditional methods.
Can you catch em on the start?
