Dark Knight, Paladin, or Hero?
So I was considering changing classes from a dark knight to one of the other warriors. Assume that funding isn't an issue.
First off, I haven't been able to find any definitive evidence of one class being stronger than either of the others.
I like Gugnir's descent but all of the cooldown and rebuffing that goes along with it bothers me about DrKs.
So I'd like to know, unbiased, which one is the strongest?
I'd also appreciate any (fully biased) opinions on how fun each class is.

if You dont want to leash your power once in a while when you are "on the verge of death", then go for paladin or hero. if pally is the diamond knife then dark knight is the fragile needle.

Pallies may have been rare Pre-Red, but in all honesty, I believe Paladins were better than Heroes overall before RED and are even better now. Heck I turned all my basil avatars into Pallies. Make a Pally!

i was thinking to do the same thing, change my drk to pally, but I'm not sure, i also have a hero lvl 143 that i really don't play so I'm going to change my hero to pally just in case and i will keep my Drk.
Just pick Pally because that's what everyone will say.
I swapped from DrK to Pally a little back and I love my pally a lot more than the DrK. Bossing is so much easier due to Void Elemental and you instantly have 20k def in 4th job + a massive amount of dodge. Getting auto buff for pets and putting that on hp recovery makes you almost unkillable.
Just...go take Pally and be done with it.
I don't own a hero but i can tell about the other 2 cuz i own them.
Dark Knight: Pretty good, tanky, vampire-like (HP drain is awesome), decent for bossing, semi-agile, fair training (although you might just spam DI forever until 170). The bad thing is Sacrifice's cooldown+duration which leaves a small gap of 20 seconds which would be approached actually.
Paladin: Godliest tank in the game, has %HP damage reduce (no other class has this minus Shadower), can ignore the resistances of the boss and you spam around 3-5 skills to keep your damage up. The bad thing is how the buffs affect this class, w/o buffs, you're pretty weak, but at least you don't have a cooldown gap for your bossing skill.
Again, a hero main should tell you how hero is since I don't main nor intend to make one atm.
