Another post about Edm

So I've argued with one of my friends about this for a while. He claims that not many Americans listen to the harder ends of EDM, specifically Melbourne bangerz or hardstyle. Do any of you listen to hardstyle and are North American? I know a whole lot of people from Australia that do, but they don't share any other common interests in specific genres of music as I do.
@SharkyJr what about euphoric hardstyle?
@xdarkshynobi I'd say that most "ravers" only go for the partying and not the actual music, and if they do, it's mostly for bigroom or top beatport charts. That's why I mentioned the harder end of EDM, which is not as popular in rave culture in the states
Euphoric sounds too abstracted. I think it would be good if you were on drugs though... lol.

fradddd

I only listen to brostep and what they call "electro house" and fun D&B.
A lot of EDM is so god damn boring, like chillstep.

a lotta asians like EDM. Most of the Asian females i know like to take drugs and go to Raves. This is not specific to just asian girls, everyone loves doing this. I got invited to going to one of these raves but i think i might punch someone for stepping on my foot.

Funk >> House >> Techno / Trance >> Atmospheric >> Nightcore (IE Speedmix) >> Hardstyle >> Happy Hardcore >> Ambient / Cycle >> (Generalized) EDM >> Dubstep

Progression.

I mostly listen to Funk and Ambient. I like Happy Hardcore more than Hardstyle.
