Bm Versus Mm
I'm trying to decide which to go for at the moment. I've always wanted to make an archer but never got around to it, so finally starting the journey.
Which has higher dps?:

Between a Mille Aiguilles+Ishtar's Ring or becoming another bandwagoner, which would you be?

This is only true if the cap is raised. If it isn't BM>MM in 1v1 because MM has cap limiations faster. I also don't agree with your advice. If the TS is playing for pure damage, then he shouldn't get either.
Also, not trying to bash MMs, but most peoiple do not find the xbow attractive, with or w/o NX. There is a reason why BMs and Mercs are more populated than MMs and WH, even thought BM/Merc have lower damage.
OT: Keep in mind that damage isn't everything. MM are pure DPMers. BMs rely more on utilities. BMs have slightly less mobbing dpm but GG vertical reach is insane. BMs also can heal, have stance, and better mobility. Agian, MM have more damage.

Seconded. This is the true reason why I made a BM instead of an MM, not cuz of hurricane.
MM's are much better once they get to 195, as they get unlimited snipe. BMs are rather low on DPS, while MMs are 2nd in GMS behind only Kaiser's.

@UsoppStyle: You realize I was just teasing cause I'm a BM, right? ( but Bows really are sexier )
@thetot actually you can get a perm nx weapon to resolve that "issue" even for most people the xbow looks sexy.
and what above said, it only applies for marksman.
edit: if i were you, i'll go and get a xbow to cover "that ugly face"

This makes a good point... My only hate for the Aran class stems from the gigantic weaponry covering everything...
