If it's the same as maplesea, if you're too high or low level compared to the mob you are killing, the exp will be nerfed. This applies to all bosses too.

SH and HoH still gives full exp if you're around the same level as the mobs. Haven't confirmed this officially, but if you're more than 10 levels higher than the HoH/SDH mobs then the exp will give diminishing returns.
