Help! -Visiting Korea-

Hey Basil, I need some help from you Korean speaking people out there
I'm graduating in about a month from now, and before going into university, I want to visit my hometown and my relatives
My mom has agreed to pay for the plane tickets

I'm looking forward to it, but I have 1 problem:
Since it is a 2 month visit, I have decided to get a job to earn some money. (Which may become useful for post-secondary funds)
I have been hired as an English teacher there at some English Academy
Having lived in Canada majority of my life, my Korean isn't very great, which means I'd have to fix it up a bit before I start teaching other students
Reading and writing is not a problem, as everything I mark will be in English
However, my speaking skills aren't that great. I am wondering if any of you people out there know how to broaden my Korean vocab/grammar knowledge. All I can think of right now are watching movies, reading Korean newspapers, and spending hours in front of google translator Does anyone have any tips/recommendation? All help is appreciated.
