You can pot the Commerci equips with regular potential scrolls (90%s (from Evo, just to be safe) and get Epic Tier instantly.
I currently have a Epic 3l Commerci gloves atm (used special pot scroll from hot time). Cube them if you think it's worth.

Yeah the commerci equips are junk, people just use them for looks.

@ChauSon: emp set would be better than commerci because it has a set effect. Unless you mean sweet water instead of commerci in which case, sweet water set is probably the second best set after chaos ra.

EDIT: reading the comments above, I think you guys are talking about sweet water, not commerci equips. Just to clarify, commerci equips are given out from the quest line and have no set effect. The sweet water equips drop from trade voyages and have great stats for the 2-4 set effect.

@ChauSon: I have the 4 set effect on my Zero because I don't feel like buying Tyrants/RA, in retrospect it's a pretty cheap alternative with a high range impact... but it's not the best set if you really looked in to it though. If you 15 star your Tyrant shoes and cape, then transposed them on to your Commerci set, that's 2 pieces right there, you lose 60 atk and 60 all stats in total from both, but you gain like 110 atk and almost 200 all stats so you end up gaining about 50 atk, the weapon isn't a loss, simple as that, and the fourth piece is the hat. That leaves you with a top and bottom that you can get from RA for the two piece bonus.

@chauson: commerci equips aren't that great, % luk equips will be better for you

@spyro do you think commerci equips are good investments later on?

I'd get an emp cane if you're looking for a weapon because you can transpose to sweet water when you get one. Loveless is limiting because you'd have to sell it if you ever wanted to upgrade.
I still think that with 600m, you're probably better off getting emp, unless you can get more money fairly easily.

@ChauSon: No problem. That's my personal experiences, that's how I fund all my mules/noobs. I actually had like 2b recently and decided to fund my Zero and my Drk, so I bought a bunch of 6% str tempest stuff, then started working out to other stuff.

Yes, without a doubt. Top/bottom set is always better than overall. There is no case which overall is superior as of now, not to say it may not change later on with future advancements, with Maple going the direction it's going. I would personally go with Pirate top/bottom because of looks....but ofa isn't bad either. The point is it's a 3rd tier top and bottom set.

@ChauSon: Something cheap and effective would be either loveless or empress. They're not overly pricey, and you can toss some 50% +8 atks on there for the time being, even if it's horrible scrolled it's not a bad base attack to hold you off for an endgame.

As the guy above mentioned. % Luk from senior items are good too. That would cover your shoes, hat, overall, and gloves if you don't have any. You can get 4% pretty easy, and 6% if you put in a little effort, and you don't even have to pay for it, just train your character and loot a lot. 4% on another 4 pieces is another 16% luk. That's 50% luk with only like 400m (Depending on price of Tempest items)

@ChauSon: ok then, well I'd work on getting a scrolled empress cane so you can upgrade it to sweet water when you have the opportunity. 600m won't get you too far but I think you should be able to get the cane, gloves, shoes, hat, and overall from the emp set and use epic pot scrolls from the red shop on them, or scroll the cane. It might be useful to farm bingo on mules to help with getting more red coins since you don't have much funds atm.

EDIT: if you don't want to go the empress route, you could maybe try to get some purple senior equips with % luk from monster park extreme. Tempest equips are also pretty good, but they seem to be inflating a bit.

The best thing to do for any character when you have limited funding is to fund in moderation. 6% luk doesn't seem like a lot but when you buy 5 6% items, it adds up faster. Get 6% tempest items if you don't have better. Tempest ring, shoulder, belt, pendant. That's 24% luk right there which helps tremendously. % earrings are abnormally cheap because of crafting. Especially half earrings, you can get 12% luk earrings for maybe 200m in Nova, probably around that if not cheaper in Bera. That would put you at 36% luk, and already an amazing start.

Not sure what you have from your DB. But just remember, the key is balance. You can have a lot of atk and no % luk and be really weak... or a lot of % luk and no atk and be weak. So make sure you're also working on slowly upgrading your atk while you upgrade your % luk equips.

I'm guessing you'd have some tradeable equips from your dual blade that you could use so maybe try get a decent cane? If you don't plan on maining it then I'd probably suggest a revolution cane from the red shop with +8 Atk scrolls dropped on it until the slots are used and pray you get lucky.
