What Happens after that?

Hey guys, So recently I listened to a song, it's pretty good, I liked it. It's called:

Electus - Fallen (ft. Charlotte Haining) Link - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9BsU21snuY

It's actually a really good song. But in the beginning and towards the end of the song a guy named Alan Watts spoke and says something that got me to think deeply
he says:

"When we were born we don't really know where we came from, because we don't remember. And we think when we die, that's just going to be that. Some people console themselves to the idea that they are going to heaven, that they are going to be reincarnated or they are going to "summer land' or something else. People don't really believe that. But for most people it's plausible, the real thing that haunts them is that when they die, they go to sleep and are never going to wake up."

Now that is some really deep stuff it got me to wonder, what happens after your life ends? Is there no way you can possibly think, move, feel, see anything. How will you be able to even tell if anything happened since you no longer exist, most people like to think they will go to heaven (which i hope is true) or in some way go to some "Summer Land" as Alan Watts said. I do believe in spirits so i believe when you die your spirit rises from your body and lives on. My motto is "Live life to the fullest and don't worry about death, your memories will be carried on by your loved ones."

So discuss what you guys think would happen, what your belief is, if you're scared of it, or just whatever you have related to this topic.

Well I believe in heaven as much as I can. I'm just Christian...
Not really that "deep" though, cause this is a pretty common question.

There's really no evidence of a soul or anything. The way it probably works is that consciousness and thought are a result of the complexity of your brain. When you die, your brain dies, and that's it. There's nothing after that. If there's a soul, it's not responsible for thought, because if you mess with someone's brain enough they'll think in different ways. Hit them on the head or carve out a portion of the brain, stuff like that.

It's rather sad, but life is an arbitrary event (I'm not religious) and arbitrariness has no regard for good or bad, the happy or the sad. And especially not fairness. So squeeze as much as you can into the seventy or so years you're given and hope that by the end of it you're happy with your product.
